There is a new pop-up restaurant in town: BAUT AMSTERDAM! This bar slash restaurant opened on the Wibautstraat, therefore the name BAUT, on the 13th of October. It will stay here for the coming two years.
With BAUT, the dream of chef Michiel van der Eerde has come true, after being the chef at several fantastic restaurants like Bokkedoorns, Oudsluis, Het Amstel Hotel and his work at IQ Creative (final culinary responsibility at Envy, Nevy, Supperclub, Mazzo & Nomads).
It is great to hear that BAUT loves good food and next to that adores creativity. They organize a variety of events (art, design, music), check their website or Facebook for more info. You are welcome for a cup of coffee, a drink in the afternoon, lunch or dinner. The dinner menu are three dishes of four different countries/: France, Italy, Asia & The Netherlands. To give you an idea of the dishes they serve for dinner: steak tartare, coquilles, risotto, soft shell crab, Dutch poached oysters, organic chicken.
It’s on my To visit-list, also on yours?
Love, Michelle
