Spring is almost back in town! And what is a sunny period without the delicious truffles from MASSIMO? He has a variety of products made with black and white truffles as well as black and white truffles – straight from Italy!
The black truffle oil (the real deal) is really tasty especially with a bit of balsamic vinegar and fresh bread! Another favorite is the black truffle sauce: a combination of 10% black summer truffle, extra virgine olive oil and mushrooms. Lovely on a bruschetta as a starter, with fresh rosemary bread or in a pasta dish. The other day I mixed it with a bit of mayonaise on a salmon, tomato and avocado sandwich. Delicious!
The white truffle sauce is made with Grano Padano cheese, flower and cream, some salt and aroma’s. This one is great to eat with ravioli or risotto and with white fish.
Last but definitely not least is MASSIMO’S truffle honey: take a piece of Old Amsterdam cheese and dip it into this honey. Your taste buds will go mad: from the salty cheese to the sweet honey with the marvelous taste of the truffle!
