When in Berlin, you must visit Rembrandt Burgers! Because… who doesn’t love burgers?! Well, in Berlin you are sure to get the best burgers here!
This very busy hotspot is situated in Friedrichshain and was founded by Maurice Palms, a Dutch guy, together with his friend Denis Ben-Hamed. Yay for culy Dutchies! As good as Rembrandt was at painting, these guys really know how to flip their burgers. Rembrandt Burgers.
They have a simple yet cosy interior. Outside you can sit at picknick tables. In summer you might have to wait for a table, but that’s definitely worth it! Sit back, relax and hang around.. And you’ll find yourself in Dutch spheres. From the Grolsch beer, the ‘Holländische snacks’ on the menu to the little Dutch flag that tops your burger. In case you are a bit home sick, just order a frikandel or kroket.
The burgers are a good base before you hit the Berlin clubs. The day after clubbing they may taste even better. A perfect way to fight a hangover. The burgers are robust and won’t fit in your mouth when you take a bite. On the menu you’ll find veggie burgers too. They have the best sauces to go with the extra crispy fries; from Joppie sauce to mango mayo. Rembrandt’s serve first-class sweet potato fries. And in my opinion you can never have too many sweet potato fries.
