Bodag Maliah lies in the midst of the famous rice fields of Ubud in Bali, Indonesia. It’s quite hard to find but def worth it! The restaurant uses fresh organic ingredients for their cooking!
The view is breathtaking, the people so friendly and the food is yummy! Our lunch consisted of the most tender chicken sate I have ever tasted: Traditional Balinese Chicken Sate and Balinese Nasi Campur (see pictures).
Because the local people do not drink so much alcohol (as we do), they make a lot of juices consisting all sorts of fruits, veggies and ecological sugars. Delicious I may say! Later on I will give you the recipe of the Virgin Maliah which I drank a lot there.
