KU KITCHEN & BAR
This cute small restaurant in the Utrechtsestraat serves you mouthwatering dishes, its name? KU KITCHEN & BAR!
Last week STORY154 sat down for a 9 course lunch with a variety of Asian deliciousness! We started with edamame beans which were everyone’s favorite healthy snack at this food, fashion & beauty get together. This restaurant is quite nearby BAR MOUSTACHE.
I like to be served well at a restaurant and enthusiasm plays an important part in it. You can call the staff of KU KITCHEN & BAR very enthusiastic! Chef Dirk explained every course, starting with a Dashi soup, which is a soup based on soy sauce – a very powerful and tasty bouillon. Next a Spicy Shrimp Salad that was very appetizing because of the grilled shrimps and a very special Yuzu sauce (YUM!), a Duck ‘n Roll the name says it all – a spring roll filled with duck – and salmon nigiri and avocado maki. This next dish was definitely my no. 1: the King KU Burger – a burger made with wagyu beef in a big green egg combined with pickles and cabbage. This one I want to taste over and over again, it was so tender and juicy. Must have been that big green egg! You’ll notice that the food is of a high standard. You should try it someday!
