Restaurant DS is now on THE LIST after reading Rosemarijn’s positive review last week. I love the combination of minimalistic interior with great food! It reminds me of this article.
Plus Restaurant Jansz is also amongst my monthly favorites because I’ve tasted the most delicious meatball ever at Taste of Amsterdam. I’m thinking of inviting my father to join me for lunch there, or at Restaurant Breda. Also a good one to put on your to visit list! Decisions, decisions. Which one would you take your father to?
Restaurant Moon in the new A’dam Toren! Go there.. Or read this first and then make a reservation! You won’t regret it..
A fellow Instagrammer reminded me of Restaurant De Kas today (already follow me on Instagram?). I never went there but heard a lot of great stories about this restaurant. It’s back on my list again!
And when the sun is shining (end of this week!), I’ll probably end up at Meneer Nieges to enjoy some sun rays, a real laid-back atmosphere, lovely food and on point interior.

Meatless District for a healthy meal, Schatje Patatje for ‘healthy’ fries, Baires Empanadas for real Argentinian empanadas (love those plus check out that interior!) and Bar Botanique Cafe Tropique for a shot of urban botanical and cocktails on the side. And Happyhappyjoyjoy in East. Can’t wait to go there!
These two new restaurants in Amsterdam are opening soon
Did you know that BAUT is opening their newest location mid July? We don’t know their location just yet, but we are so curious! And from temporary pop up Staets to Jacobsz Amsterdam which is opening on the 1st of August on the Middenweg in Oost. My sweet friends of Nicemakers are the interior designers, so you know that’s going to be good! Just like the food..
So July is the month of summer, beautiful weather, holidays and food. Always include food. And since these first two items aren’t steady at all. Always focus on food! We got you quite the list, so enjoy!
