While summer does its best to stay, we are already heading over to restaurants that are a joy for the eye to spend the evening. In city’s centre or more heading West, East or North, it really doesn’t matter. As the food and wine are splendid and you can enjoy your meal, your dinner companion(s) and the ambiance of the restaurant.
Here’s a list of restaurants that I will visit in september:
Restaurant Breda is on top of my list again! Why? Because of the simplicity of flavours that go together so well. And just because these people are loving what they do.. And you taste this! And I want to take my father for lunch here.
Kaagman & Kortekaas because this is a true hidden gem! I went to the Zara the other day and passed this hotspot with its terrace and beautiful interior. Really want to know what they are making here! Anyone already experienced it? Parisian bistro cuisine from mixed with modern haute cuisine in a modern interior. What’s not to love?
The tartaria of Atelier Wolf should be a real winner when it comes to lunch (during the week) if I listen to my boyfriend. He already went and loved it! And Thijs takes (food) concepts very seriously ;)
MOS Amsterdam is in a specific building nearby the Paleis van Justitie along the Westerdoksdijk (near Central Station and Meneer Nieges). The view is majestical and the food as well, I read in Amsterdam newspaper Het Parool. So it’s on our list for a long time already..
We live in the Jordaan area and always was passing by Cafe De Klepel. By accident I thought it was one of those brown cafes with a lot of ‘stamgasten’ (regulars). But it is a restaurant with a French kitchen and really really really good wines! This is a restaurant that doesn’t get your hopes up and overdelivers big time ;)
