Have you heard of 5&33? This restaurant slash bar slash gallery slash lounge is situated in the chic Art’Otel nearby Central Station. This relatively new hotspot has a non-Dutch atmosphere to it, probably because it is inside of a hotel, has a large internationally looking bar with great service who only speak English and yummy cocktails and bites.
While sipping on our chilled white wine (Italian Pinot Grigio), our stomaches are starting to growl. At 5&33 it is normal to share dishes and I happen to love that: you can taste a bit of everythang! You should definitely share a few of the dishes like a plate with different kinds of cured meat, the burrata with tomatoes and basil, cauliflower soup with black truffle (!) and the scallops with samphire and chilli cress. One dish you shouldn’t share is the goat cheese ravioli with aubergine and pinenuts! Believe me.
