Julius Bar & Grill

You could all read it here or would have known if you follow me on Instagram (you don’t yet? ;): I love me some meat! Quality meat that is.
Last Friday the bf and I had datenight at Julius Bar & Grill. And boy were we in for a treat! We started with pulled pork croquettes with bloater fish mayonnaise and a glass (actually a bottle) of Sauvignon.

STARTERS
I love to share dishes so we decided to have a tasting. It’s like antipasti misto were you get a little bit of some signature starters. In this case: fresh salmon, Vietnamese bacon, grilled avocado with tomatoes and beef tataki. We got a little food fight over the Vietnamese bacon because it’s fat in a good way, tasty and juicy. Also try the pulled pork sandwich – YUM!

MAIN COURSE
Almost all served dishes are prepared on a Big Green Egg. A BBQ like green egg that you can use to grill, smoke, stove, bake, roast and cook meat or other ingredients. It gives a lovely smokey taste to your dish like the well-marinated spare ribs! Oef, these guys are juicy and full of flavor. It really doesn’t need any sauce – dirty hands guaranteed though! Luckily for us, the black tiger prawns are pre-cut so it is not so messy. The jacked potato is soft and tastes like butter, I like! Just like the spicy chicken.
