Amsterdam is ready for another new hotspot: KESSENS! You are welcome to grab a coffee, for breakfast, lunch or drinks and bites. Enjoy good food and great service in a Scandinavian ambiance with classic culinary dishes like Swedish gravad lax, Welsh rarebit (Google it, you’ll love it!) or pie with ragout.
You can expect the food to be good, because owner Casper is the youngest family member of the Holtkamp family. Who you say? A famous family with a well-known patisserie in Amsterdam. Every local knows their pastries, delicious pies and Dutch croquettes! Those will be served here as well, of course.
They expect to open at the end of October. So stay up to date through STORY154! Don’t we all love a new place with great service, good food and a modern designed interior?

Awesome! Do you think it will be more like a cafe or a restaurant during the day? I’m on the look out for a good cafe I can work from during the day other than Coffee Company, which, while being very accommodating to workers/laptops/etc, is sort of lame.
It’s actually a very good spot to get some work done! Free wifi, good coffee and lunch.
