VOLT ETEN & DRINKEN on the Ferdinand Bolstraat 178 recently renewed its interior: it’s a mix of sturdy and natural materials. But most of all it’s a cosy new spot on the Ferdinand Bolstraat to have a drink or two! Hospitality entrepreneurs Rick, Willem and Remco open VOLT for drinks, bites and dinner daily at 4 pm.
Enjoy a glass of fine wine while waiting for your (late) lunch in the weekend with Eggs Benedict, Hemingway or Florentine (all my fave!).
The bites on the menu look very good: Chef Rick makes the croquettes himself (and order a specialty beer next to it) or go for the VOLT charcuterie, mixed or cheese platter. Rick’s homemade fries suppose to be the best, so can’t wait to try these out! What’s for dinner? Vitello tonato, squid filled with chorizo, fine de claire oysters (starters) and grilled seabass, steak bavette or a Rustenburger black angus beef (yummm).
This spot has a bit of the same feel to it as CAFE DE WALVIS, BAR MICK and BOSCO. And that’s a good thing: It could easily turn into your favorite weekend hangout where you meet your friends! Congratulations on the renewal, guys..
