Dining Through The Seasons

English chef Justin Brown told me about his cookbook via Twitter. Who doesn’t use seasonal ingredients nowadays? Justin made a cookbook with easy and amazing looking dishes with which you can really WOW your guests at your own dinner party! And just in time for Christmas.

The seasons and its recipes
The book is set up by seasons and every season has four starters, four mains and four desserts to choose from.
I’ll let you in on some of the recipes, the other ones you can check for yourself: A beautiful and easy peasy ceviche with the freshest sea bass, posh fish pie that actually isn’t a pie or this really delicious honey glazed duck breast with pak choi, roast peach and duck sauce. This is actually a summer dish, but would work perfectly in winter as well!
Oh and the desserts: sticky toffee pudding with same sauce, passion fruit crème brûlée, caramelised rice pudding or old fashioned plum cobbler. I can’t wait for it to be spring again and to make the Pink Champagne Granita or take bite of a lemon tart with a crème fraîche sorbet.
