Graceland Bar-B-Q
Whoever is into brisket, smokey ribs, pulled pork and other BBQ treats, must visit Graceland Bar-B-Q! This recently opened restaurant is named after the estate of Elvis and is located in De Marktkantine on the Jan van Galenstraat in Amsterdam West. They serve you traditional American smoky cuisine coupled with classic sides like homemade coleslaw and desserts, like you would experience in a roadhouse along the Route 66.
The Food
At Graceland iron-chef Brian from the States smokes the meat, fish, cheese, oysters, veggies and a lot more. All on their Big Black Betty Texas Smoker! You get the most fantastic flavours on your plate with the long, slow and low simmering up to 16 hrs.
The side dishes are all homemade: Jailhouse baked beans, coleslaw, American style mac ‘n cheese, succotash which is sweet corn with beans and homemade ketchup. And if you’re up for some midnight snacking, Graceland makes you sliders of pulled pork and brisket or some spicy wings. Yum!
