Yoohoo.. Spring is in the air! So a 10 best list about the 10 best terraces in Amsterdam is in order. Let the sun shine, order that beer or wine, some bites on the side and you can stay here for as long as the sun decides to shine! I love it..
Café Restaurant De Plantage has a beautiful terrace at the back of the building. It reminds me of Parisian terraces with small tables and chairs. Great spot to take your own food and relax with the sounds of the Amsterdam Zoo! Read more about De Plantage here >
Hanneke’s Boom was also on the previous list, but it’s just such a relaxed spot to hang out that it’s on this one as well! We have a boat so it’s one of our favorite spots to hang out and enjoy the sun. And nachos from of the oven.
De Hoftuin lies in the middle of the city centre behind the Hermitage Museum. It’s a big garden and overloaded with sun!
Café Het Molenpad is not a typical STORY154 hotspot. The only time I am there is with good weather, sit on their terrace and order wine and bitterballen. It’s a real brown cafe (as we Dutchies know it) and therefore I prefer to sit along the Prinsengracht in the sun and watch all the boats go by. The sun stays here for a long long time!
Mossel & Gin doesn’t only serve you the perfect combination of seafood and gintonics. They also have the cutest terrace of Amsterdam! Their terrace is a bit shielded from the outside and that’s why it’s like you’re chilling in someone’s garden! Love it.. Read more about Mossel & Gin here >
Lion Noir’s garden is a best kept secret that I didn’t even know of! It’s supposed to be the most romantic spot with great food for lunch or dinner with your lover lover or slam some cocktails inside with friends. Read more about Lion Noir here >

De Waterkant is actually a spot to moor your boat and where you can fill ‘r up with gasoline. Now it’s an uberrelaxed hotspot with lovely Soul and Comfort Food all the way from Surinam! So the sun and some cool tunes out of the speaker and you’re almost there..
Café De Biertuin, where I had the most delicious burger ever, also have a big terrace in Amsterdam Oost. Right in the sun with delicious food, beers and cool staff. If this isn’t a winner when the sun is shining…
Bridges and Le Petit Bistro have an amazing garden! In spring and in summer when the sun is shining, this perfect garden is shielded from the city’s centre (nearby Nieuwmarkt) and is a valhalla for foodloving people like yourself. Think oysters, bubbles.. Read more about Le Petit Bistro >
Vondelpark/3 has a huge terrace overlooking the beautiful Vondelpark! This terrace is perfect to sit by yourself, have lunch, dinner or drinks with friends. Make sure to try the spareribs while you are there!
Ok, so now it’s time for me to test another terrace! There are so many in Amsterdam. I love SPRING!
