One of my favorite food stores in Amsterdam is Stach Food, because they are not your typical supermarket but have more authentic food brands, food and service. Stach is a fave due to the fresh Le Perron bread and especially the croissants! We even walk our Vizsla dog to Stach so we can take away a coffee and have a quick croissant for breakfast on a Saturday morning before heading to the park nearby. This one of a kind shop also has beautiful products in even prettier packaging: Think of the delicious sodas of Belvoir, Fentimans and Luscombe.
Since April, Stach offers everyone a breakfast for €4,95 from 8am. Normally I never mention what things cost because expensive or cheap isn’t what I want you to experience. For this price you get one of those delicious croissants with butter and jam, fresh OJ, a coffee or tea and super nice service. For me this is enough but when you’re hungry, definitely try the cocos chia pudding with mango or the cocos yoghurt with granola.
Stach has multiple locations throughout the city: Admiraal de Ruyterweg, Nieuwe Hoogstraat, Nieuwe Spiegelstraat, Van Woustraat, food store and burger bar in Overveen (not Amsterdam) and at the Haarlemmerstraat in the city’s centre. I visited this last venue.
