Lotti’s is the restaurant of the recently opened Hoxton Hotel in Amsterdam on the Herengracht. It is the new place to be for breakfast, coffee dates, lunch or dinner. With a Londonesque feel to it, this is where you can relax and enjoy the service, food and atmosphere or get your work done while digging into yummy foods.
The Hoxton Hotel and Soho House
Let me tell you a bit about The Hox and Soho House. So the lobby, lounge and Lotti’s Café, Bar & Grill are a part of the Soho House, a private member house from London. Lotti’s is the perfect spot for you and your date to enjoy a lovely dinner or breakfast, but also for freelancers to work here during the day. It has a modern, relaxed feel to it because of the velvet sofas and the cool seating that gives it a very unique touch!
The Hoxton Hotel has their reception downstairs and the 111 rooms are all upstairs. With the entrance at the Herengracht you can walk all the way to the Singel side! The hotel is stretched over four canal houses. The entire monumental building is perfectly decorated, well thought of and has an amazing cool atmosphere. I could live here! My friends Joyce and Dax of Nicemakers did a very nice job.
Lotti’s Menu
The menu features seasonal Italian dishes like burrata and a variety of pastas, but there are Dutch influences too: “bitterballen”, herring and tasty Gouda cheese croquettes are on the menu, thanks a Lotti! We tasted the halloumi with grilled veggies, the lamb chops with mash and the grilled salmon with lentils and spinach. But I heard that their seafood, grilled meat and chicken is also very good! Oh and make sure to order dessert.. The lemon pie with meringue, Dutch apple pie or the tirasmisu – all delicious!
