The chic Tunes Bar and the nice Conservatorium Brasserie & Lounge at Conservatorium Hotel are two unique restaurants. At the Tunes Bar you can dig into cocktails, G&Ts, sushi, tapas or a glass of champagne! The Brasserie & Lounge is located in a beautiful internal courtyard which has spectacular floor-to-ceiling windows and a glass ceiling and is perfect for a family brunch or a breakfast meeting.
The Lobby inside Hotel V on Nesplein is a very cool spot for breakfast (wentelteefjes!), lunch, dinner and cocktails. But especially for breakfast and cocktails! Story154 is a regular here.
Also The Dylan has a Michelin star restaurant: Vinkeles*. This is one of chef Tommy den Hartog’s favorite restaurants! In a beautiful ambiance you’ll be pleased with haute French cuisine with a twist made by Executive Chef Dennis Kuipers! Brasserie Occo is Vinkeles little sister at The Dylan. A more informal restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere and the possibility to eat in the garden!
Restaurant Bord’eau** at Hotel de l’Europe in Amsterdam city’s centre. This is a restaurant that is adored by many chefs like Guillaume de Beer and Freek van Noortwijk of Guts & Glory and Daalder, Tommy den Hartog and Michiel van der Eerde and cannot be missed on this list.
Bridges and its little ‘sister’ Le Petit Bistro are situated at The Grand Hotel in the city’s centre nearby Nieuwmarkt. Bridges is a seafood restaurant where innovative cuisine pleasantly blends with classical French gastronomy. Le Petit Bistro serves traditional Parisian classic dishes like steak tartaar and crème brûlée.
The Okura Hotel is the only hotel with a lot of restaurants that have Michelin stars: Ciel Blue** and Yamazato*. No words needed. Great food and make a reservation in advance!
If you want to enjoy all of this haute cuisine, maybe it’s best to keep your hotel ‘on a budget’. ;)
