Maybe you have noticed it on my Instagram: I’m exercising my butt off! Being a mom and post pregnant my body isn’t what it used to be (duh). Therefore I am taking action by training at Evolve Health Institute (a personal training agency nearby Story154 HQ).My trainer is going to get me fit and lean in the next few months! Therefore I am also watching what I eat: no cookies, chocolate and no unhealthy stuff.
All things organic
What does this have to do with cookies? Well I can’t have some anymore! Just weeks before I started this all, I got these amazing Farm Brothers cookies (via Pow Comms): Brothers, I assume, Herman and Teyler develop food products that are completely organic, made wheat free (but with oats, spelt and rye) and without any eggs, artificial colours, additives, flavorings and preservatives.
And take a look at their website! It’s so cool..
love the design, packaging and photography
They made cookies in three different flavours: chocolate sea salt, ginger lemon and hazelnut cinnamon. The pure chocolate ones with sea salt flakes are tasty and very addictive! The combination is sooo good. The sea salt isn’t mixed into the cookie dough but added later. Therefore the flakes are still of a certain size and it makes every bite a chocolate surprise! None left at the end of the day, I guarantee ya.
The ginger lemon ones reminded me of the ginger cookies my granny used to make. Enough ginger to have a fresh bite to it, but with a pinch of lemon. These were second best: Fresh, tasty and crispy. Great with some fresh ginger tea next to it!
Last and not my favorite because they are still in my cookie jar are the cookies with a hazelnut cinnamon taste to it. They are definitely good. But not as good as the chocolate salty ones.
Do not buy these cookies at De Bijenkorf or Marqt! They are very addictive and not tasty at all :p I have another training scheduled tomorrow and I am saving my cheat meal for this Friday because it’s my birthday!
