Yesterday I went to Café de Klepel again with two friends (did you spot my Insta stories?). And it was magnificent, again! The relaxed atmosphere, really good food, super nice and friendly service and quality wines = a magnificent evening.
Café de Klepel is a familiar restaurant (to a lot of people) along the Prinsenstraat in the Jordaan area of Amsterdam (nearby The Times Hotel, Dr. Blend, De Noordermarkt and Vennington) and famous for its friendly and (very) good service, the low-key café like interior and their really tasty French cuisine and quality wines. The table d’hote changes every week (or daily) because they cook according to seasons and the Noordermarkt nearby. They have a set menu which you can change if you dietary
This hotspot is a true hidden gem. I want it to stay hidden for the big mass of tourists. But you can go there, just reserve yourself a table.. or a seat at the bar (just like we enjoyed it). You’ll love it!
